We touched down at Ninoy Aquino, the local time was 2300 hours. After waiting for another forty minutes for our bags, we went straight to immigration. I walked up to the immigration officer with a smile and asked him how his day was as I presented my passport. Looking at me sternly, he simply said, “Put your bag on the counter please, and open it up.”
